Default Indesign CS3 no longer warns you of missing links

Anyone notice that after updating Indesgin CS3 & CS4 on the same Mac with the latest updates using the Adobe updater CS3, no long presents the auto links missing dialogue when you first open the file?

It was working fine before the updates.

You have to go in Preferences/File Handling and make sure to check "Check Links Before Opening Document"

    Hey Color

I double checked my settings and I have the same, I'm pretty sure that is default for the apps. CS4 has the option but CS3 does not. What happens when I open a file in either CS3-4 is the file opens without displaying the auto update link dialogue. I just see the file open and the link palette displaying the yellow triangle with missing links.

    Its very confusing.

    Thx

When all else fails go into your library and delete the apps preferences. It should be in Users>Library>Preferences>Adobe InDesign> Version 5.0
