Speaking from the manufacturing side and placing all spin aside “Defects happen”.
With that, it is very important for us to know when, how and where these issues occurred. As Meddington has said I would ask that you set the plates aside and contact your local Kodak Sales Representative or Printing Applications Specialist (PAS) immediately. They will begin a Product Investigation Report (PIR) that will capture your dissatisfaction along with samples of the defect and submit to manufacturing for evaluation and corrective action. In the mean time we can insure replacement of the defective product and make sure you are using the highest quality material for your daily operational needs.
I can not stress how important it is for our customers to notify us when these issues occur. We can not fix that witch we are not aware of. If you continue to have further issues, or the response does not fit your expectations, please feel free to contact me directly at todd.bigger@kodak.com.
