Help with the old Jaws

I have just purchased an older rip and DPX Genesis and the rip is the Jaws 4.16. I would like to upgrade to a newer rip but have been told that the DPX is not so easy to get a rip. The seller told me that it would accept 1 byte tif's and I can't get it to. Does anyone know how to set up the correct tif catcher? So I can get a newer rip? Or have any Idea of a rip that is a level three that would work? Thanx T
