Default Increasing Exposing Energy(Laser Power) on Fuji LPNV2 plate

    Hi,

we have Fuji Vx9600 plate setter and using Fuji LPNV-2 Plates, i need to know what how much laser power is good enough for exposing the plates...for better halftone results and longer plate run.....the default value is 50, can we increase it to 60? (that is 120 micro joules)....? Kindly advice

There is a good explanation "WHY and HOW" to calibrate photo-polymer negative plates.
Ask Fuji TechSupport for more details.

I'm former AGFA Service Tech, not Fuji.
That's why I advised you call Fuji.

You can set exposure level with Fuji Stepguide or you can control value on uncalibrating 50 % area, your target is around 62 %
