Re: HELP ME....... Im New student in Printing..........
I'm probably too late but here you are anyway. The attached PDF is a portion of a Flexo specification document that was created by the FIRST committee. I'm a Flexo specialist, sorry.... but when translated it will give you the answers to many of the questions you have. Flexo typically strives towards SWOP Offset standards.
QUESTION 1. See section 19.1.4
QUESTION 2. Spectrophotometer and Spectrodensitometer are two different device types (look them up on the web, X-rite is one of the most popular)
QUESTION 3. See section 19.1.4
QUESTION 4. See section 19.3.2.3 explains in part and if you skim through the whole print section you will find other explainations.
QUESTION 5. Many possible things resulting from over or increased saturation, Ink wasted (Costly), Ink transfer problems from being to wet, wetter inks create more hue shifts in the ink traps, increased dot gain, etc.
QUESTION 6. See section 18.5.2.4 INK TRAP
QUESTION 7. See section 19.1.2.1 SOLID INK DENSITY
Good Luck,
James
PS
PDF wouldn't go so I will try your email......
