    Default Removing Enfocus StatusCheck Plug

I (stupidly) installed the StatusCheck plug in Acrobat Pro 9.

It does not work (we do have Instant PDF installed).

It is not listed as being installed in the about third party plugs menu.

It appears to load in the splash screen of Acrobat Pro when starting the
app, however it then throws up an error, please see the attached image
(it annoys the crap out of me having to OK this message upon launch).

I could not find removal instructions on the Enfocus site, nor can I
easily find where this is hiding on my system.

Running up to date Tiger OS on a PPC.

I just want to get rid of this software.

Thanking you in advance for your assistance.

    Stephen,

Make sure that Instant PDF is not running.
Go to the Acrobat 9 application folder. select the Acrobat executable and show the package content.
Then look for the Enfocus folder in the Plug-ins folder.

Find the StatusCheck executable and move it to the desktop.

Restart your machine and try to launch Acrobat.

    cheers,
    Bert

Thank you Bert, after so many years on Classic Mac OS, and now years of OS X, I often forget that apps in OS X are like "folders".

Thanks for your help, much appreciated, I am back in happy land again (well, as happy as prepress ever is!).
