More ink on my half tone plate;pls help

' I always have problem with my halftone plates while printing on my narrow web printing press having set with minimun inking and impression, after countinuous running of the press the plate begins to pick more inks than expected'
with attempt to mop off the ink from the plate surface more often creates a monotonus deal and downtime of my press inxcreases by the day please what can i do to overcome this.

Are you printing waterbased flexo or Uv Flexo ?

If waterbased, is the ink drying on the plate and building up on it as a result ? If so the ink may be drying too fast and drying on the plate...you need to add retarder the ink. Your ink supplier should be able to advise.
