    Hi

if i back to my drum driver board and MCF board now lotem is working. Let me explain you detailly.
We are facing drum deviation problem recently in our lotem regarding that drum deviation problem.

Drum deceleration and drum speed deviation problems occur on Lotem 800 Family platesetters

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Product Lotem 800 Family
    Lotem 800 II Family

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Error Thermal head platesetters:

Exception Rcon error: Drum failed to reach position (Error code = 37716, Error Category = 07 - Fatal, device cannot recover).

    Fiber head platesetters:

    Drum deviation error message
    Drum time out error message

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Symptoms The drum decelerates and drum speed deviations occur.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cause There are six possibilities that cause the drum to either decelerate or deviate in speed.
The six possibilities are listed according to their probability of causing the problem.
(1 - most likely cause; 6 - least likely cause)

    Wall voltage is too high.
Interlock key and/or interlock is incorrectly postioned
    Distribution board may need replacing.
Drum driver is not comp level P.
    MCF board may need replacing.
    Drum encoder may need replacing.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Solution Save the platesetter’s registry.
Open the platesetter’s log file and save all operations.
    Check the following:

    Wall voltage
Make sure it is stable and conforms to the site preparation specifications.

    Interlock adjustment
Make sure the interlocks and interlock keys are correctly positioned.

    24 V supply
Make sure the voltage is adequate and conforms to the site preparation specifications.

    E-box voltage
    Make sure it is stable.

    MCF voltage
    Make sure it is stable.

    Wall phases
Use an RX monitoring device to measure the wall phases.

    Fly off detectors
Make sure the fly off detectors are correctly functioning.

    Distribution board
    Replace the existing distribution board.
Thermal head platesetters: Order kit 518-01533A
Fiber head platesetters: Order kit 518-01532A

Based on this we checked the voltage - its ok /
checked the interlock - its ok /
changed the distribution board - same error drum deviation error back to our existing distribution board
changed mcf board - same error drum deviation error back to our existing mcf
changed drum driver we got the Error message is as follows:

Error on load roller value. value HP detector. No change / No valid state of detector in off operation.

The task load roller value off switch failed.

The task drum power switch off switch failed.

    MCF card startup required.

    Slave Sproc Prepare access failed.

my question is why this error comes when we change the drum driver board and what is the solution for this becaz every day iam facing drum deviation problem and wasting plate by half expose so i want to find out where we went wrong and how to correct it and what is the solution for drum deviation speed above the limit and how we avoid it , Is it possible to reduce the speed by avoiding drum deviation above the limit ???

    Kala,
The Drum driver is in the Distribution Box under the Distribution Board. This is the ELMO.
If you replaced the MCF board you have to check the REV level
You have to do the following in the registry for :
    1) Revision A:
    IO OBJECTS\ MCF CARDS\ MCF Card\ Xilinx File \ Lotem800\UpLoadFile\Mcf\ctp.xil

    2) Revision C:
    IO OBJECTS\MCF CARDS\ MCF Card\ Xilinx File \ Lotem800\UpLoadFile\Mcf\ctp_RevC.xil

Try and get the latest revivision level of Drum Driver
By the way where did you get all the above info re. Drum deviation errors?

    Hi

My question is we took the drum drive board in another same model lotem why it shows the error when i fixed that drum driver to our machine.

Finally Tell me how to solve the drum deviation speed above the limit error.

whether latest update driver for drum drive board will sort out our problem ??

I got all the info from my boss.(He was an ex application engineer from agfa, esko)

    awaiting for your reply.

Try and get a Drunm Driver comp level P.
Make sure that you measure 5.1 V on the MCF board.
A combination of the two should resolve your problem.
Try and find in the registry Drum Deviation value and reduce it slightly.

Fine thin lines appearing in all the plates. more visible on screen jobs and 175 & 200 rulings.
