    Dear Sir,

I have Select Set 5000 since last 3yrs, works fine, but last week it give me error 28 during booting, and also don't image data on film, some times when image comes it looks like zigzag or lines on the film.
We don't have any certified engineer for this machine, kindly help....and suggest.

    Best Regards

    Hi Mr Block.
We are looking to buy a computer to metal plate system and are considering the G&J Platewriter 2000. the question we have is whether the print heads clog or if sitting unused for long periods will be a problem. We are a very small shop and don't use our platemaker every day/week. Thanks Scott

    Hello Mr. Block,
We have an Avantra 30 OLP and are very interested in going to poly plates. It appears through the threads I have seen that you have a tremendous amount of knowledge and expertise around this process so we come to you for some information please. We have been told that the plates will image fine but cant run through the OLP due to bath depth, abrasiveness of the rollers and the like. Is this true and if so is there a fix for this? Max sheet size for us is 19 x25 but we run the bulk of our work on a 14 x 20 format and we do run quite a bit of higher end pleasing 4cp work. Any information would be greatly appreciated on success or lack of using this imagesetter for poly plates.
