Die making process!

Hello everyone
.... print planet is the only place where i seem to get my answers ( for to somewhat stupid questions) ...so...We dont have any Laser die making machines in our country...so our company was planning to get one....and i had a few questions...

1. Has anyone used Asian Laser die making machines eg China, Taiwan? Are they any good?
2. What sort of Blade is used to make these dies. ( does laser cut wood needs different type of blade than the old traditional type blades?)


I would really appreciate some knowledge sharing about this..... any useful links? any Print Finishing Gurus ?
