    Default Help_Can't get disk out

    Power PC G5 10.4.11
    I tried disk utilities.
Took it apart; tried pushing the disk unload manually.
Tried a paper clip in the little hole. That use to work.
Nothing. It just made some bad noises and keeps mounting my drive.

Try rebooting your Mac and hold the mouse button down while it boots up.

I had the same problem with a Intel iMac.
What I had to do was pull off the white cover, then I had to lay the Mac down and keep hitting the eject button on the keyboard while I was trying to hold the flap down in the drive that keeps coming up and someone else was using a dental pick on the non-emulsion side of the cd and was fishing for the whole in the center. After a few attempts we were able to pull it out. The main thing is it probably keeps hanging up on the little metal piece that comes up.
There is a video on You Tube.
