    If the computer is brand new its covered under warranty. So if you were to buy a macbook pro at bestbuy, have a fried logic board 2 months later, you can bring it into any Apple store or Apple authorized dealer for warranty work. Its actually pretty nice, especially if you move, your not stuck with the store of purchase.
