False disk was not ejected error

Keep getting the error"the disk was not ejected properly. If possible, always eject a disk before unplugging it or turning it off." Very Annoying see attached. And no there was not a disk removed improperly.

Not that it helps you much but, this question probably best belongs in the Information Technology->Windows Help Desk topic...

That being said, it sounds like perhaps a USB thumb drive or SD card was pulled from its connection rather than being ejected. Another option would be a network drive that looses connection - might happen if the network interface card powers down or you loose network connectivity.

Do you have any kind of external drives attached? I've seen this on my Mac with a USB external drive attached and if the cable gets moved in a certain way this message will pop up even if the drive doesn't actually dismount.
