    Default Colorspan 5465uv questions

I don't know much about this machine, but I feel we should be able to get better quality from it then we are. Can this machine print good solids? Even when we use the highest quality setting and print only uni-directional, our solids still appear mottled. We are using HP Rip software ver. 1.4.242.

Is there better RIP software we should be using? Can anyonne suggest anything else to improve quality of solids?

Thank you in advance for your help.

try calibrating the printheads. do the full calibration procedure.
afterwards verify that you do not limit the ink too low ot too high in any of the proceeding color calibrations and profiling stages.
    hope it will help.
