    Default Designjet 9000S

    Need someone to checkout a Designjet 9000S. It was left turned off with ink in it. Needs to be cleaned and verify heads are OK. If you know this machine. and are in Chicago area drop me a line. dlux1@mac.com

    Default 9000s cleaning

    You need to contact your local HP rep and have them order you a cleaning kit, it cost about $250 but will last you all year. It comes with very simple instructions and cleans and the printheads.

    For now you should try a print head wash and let the printer sit for about 8hrs, the wash will fill the caps with ink and may dissolve the dry ink.
