Default Epson 9800 OK with epson ink banding with sub ink

    New Epson 9800

Looks great with Epson ink. Used sub ink and has white line horizontal banding. All nozzles firing perfectly.

    Tried adjusting the paper feed.

    Any suggestions?

if you can't get it with paper feed adjustment, try a custom paper and play with the microweave settings (M/W Adjustment). If I remember correctly, this can slow the printer down quite a bit.

    Default Linearize

Have you linearized after the ink change?

I'm assuming you are using a RIP to drive the printer, if so you might also look to see if there is a media feed adjustment in the RIP software as that might address the issue. The paper feed adjustment seems like the right approach though. You might also try doing a head alignment as well.
